I actually drew these while in life drawing class, so the title is not really true. Unfortunately, I don't have much spare time to draw or attend extra life drawings sessions outside of classes and my weekly sunday morning session. Though I don't have much work to show for it at the moment, I am still trying to tackle the monsterous task of learning 3D (Maya) in school. I am hoping I will have some 3D work to post some time soon to start documenting my learning progress. In the mean time...here are more life drawings. Enjoy!
To make up for a missed school trip to the Royal Winter Fair I went to the zoo this past Saturday morning to get some sketching done. I have to say that going during the fall is far more enjoyable when the zoo is less busy. Overall it was a very relaxing morning. I recommend anyone who is in Toronto to visit the zoo before it gets too cold. Below are a few sketches from that morning.
Here are some drawings from the past week. We are trying new things in class and I am still exploring on own while in extra life drawing sessions. All in all its been a mix bag of results, where I have found sucess in some areas and fallen completely flat in others. There are definitely some stronger elements of these drawings that I will bring forward into my future drawings.
Here are some life drawings that I drew this week. The drawings themselves were not very successful in capturing anything I had intended to and riddled with problems, but I do love the fact that I am discovering new things. Thus I am posting these drawings to document my forward movement and changes that are starting with my lifedrawing. Oh...and to document the mistakes as well...they are an equally important part of the process.
