Dark Stalkers Tribute
So...I intended to enter the Dark Stalkers tribute contest (the funny thing is that I didn't know a thing about Dark Stalkers until a month ago), but it turns out that I have way to much work to do to get something done in time. In any event, here is a quick painting I did when brainstorming in my layout class (yes...I should have been paying attention in class, but I was too tired to listen, so needed to do something to stay awake).

First Flash Animation - Walk Start and Stop
I have started to learn how to animate in Flash for one of my classes this term. Here is one of the first major assignments. I was required to create a character from an existing Flash cartoon style and then animate the character starting into a walk stopping from a walk (the actual walk is a walk cycle).

Life Drawings over the past two weeks
Hey all, I fell behind on my life drawing postings. Here is a quick life drawing dump. I have been exploring colour based on the encouragement of my current life drawing prof, Rick. I have found that switching between colour mediums and the large marker from time to time has really helped breath a new life into life drawing for me...enjoy.

Walk Cycle and Trip Animation
Here is my first animation of the term. The assignment was to create a character and then animate the character doing a walk cycle that leads the character into tripping over an object in the forest pan (which was created from a previous layout assignment from last term) and then recovering back into the walk cycle. I did not get the opportunity to complete the animation the way I had intended, but it was a learning experience none the less.
