Life Drawings - something old and new all at the same time

Here are some life drawings from some extra sessions at Seneca @ York over the last week or so. I have been trying different things with my life drawings lately to prevent my self from falling into a funk with my drawings. Its always scary, fun, and amazing at all the same time to see what happens to my drawings when I take myself out of my comfort zone. Drawings start to fall apart, the direction of the drawings and the lines become uncertain and waver yet at same time, its new and fresh to me (even if its a style or technique that I am revisiting and not necessarily new) and it reminds me of all things I still have yet to learn and accomplish.

As much fun as it is to sometimes just draw aimlessly and just fumble in the dark until I land on something new and that works I will probably have to start setting goals and specific objectives to meet for my drawing in the next week or so. I have been experimenting and lettting loose with my drawing for the last year or so and it seems like a good time to move back to some more accurate studies and study my anatomy again. We'll see where this goes.
