Update on layouts

Here is a quick update on the layouts I have been working on. After taking a break from them and then getting some crits from various individuals, I want to start both these pieces over again. I have been getting random inspiration about things I can do to make both these pieces better. Unfortunately, time is not on my side. I'll probably have to leave them as is for now and take another stab at them in summer.

Cool layouts man.

I think the second one is much stronger though.

I really like the way you drew the trees, they have an almost human feel to them. the one on the right of the kid looks like a pose you'd see in a life drawing session. If that makes any sense.

Good luck.

yeah , I really like the 2nd one ,it's something new

1st one is aight too, maybe better if its more of a view from below to show more of the golems hugeness? also nice that you showed size relation

I'll be on a lookout for the revised versions

Hey guys,

Thanks for the feedback, it will go a long way in helping me when I make my revisions over the summer. I think if I had more time I would have spent a longer time in the thumbnail stage to get better compositions and obtain a stronger visual outcome, i.e. "the hugeness of the golem".

Thanks again, and please keep the crits coming.
